Mark Hixson - Interim Worship Leader

Born in Texas and raised in Hampton, AR, I’ve spent 25 years in the banking industry and currently serve as President/CEO of River Valley Community FCU. I hold a degree in Finance from Southern Arkansas University. My wife Amy and I have been married 21 years and have packed our minivan with three super cool kids—Madalyn, Isabella, and Joshua—each a gift through adoption, a ministry close to our hearts. I came to faith in Christ at age 9 and was raised in a Southern Baptist pastor’s home, where worship and church life were foundational. Worship is the natural overflow of our love for Jesus and the hope His resurrection brings. Christ offers living hope and forgiveness through salvation to anyone willing to accept, a daily relationship with an amazing God, and a church family where we can worship and serve the Lord together. Music fills our home daily, and I love playing saxophone, singing, and creatively leading worship alongside Madeline Woodfield as we praise our Savior together.
